We Are Tennis Student Wins Singles and Doubles at JDS Tournament!
We want to send a huge congratulations to our student, Jorell Reyes for winning the singles AND the doubles at the Junior Development Series tournaments in Rye, Victoria.
The Junior Development Series is a fantastic way to give young players their first experience in a tournament.
Jorrell has been training with us since he was 12 years old. He has been consistently coming to tennis and loving enjoying the learning of the game.
Only this year he decided he wanted to take it to the next level and train on a more professional basis through the We Are Tennis player development pathways.
He has been coming to training 4-5 times per week and has found his balance of the 5 elements that we teach, being:
- Mental;
- Physical;
- Technical;
- Tactical; and
- Management of the game
He has been working really hard on his mental game and allowing his game to flow and we couldn’t be prouder.
Jorrell was also the winner of the We Are Tennis Most Valuable Player.
Well done Jorrell and we so look forward to working with you in the coming year.
