Vermont South Tennis Club Community Open Day
Our recent Community Open Day at Vermont South Club was a huge success! We brought together local families, players, and tennis enthusiasts for an afternoon of energy, connection and fun. With strong attendance and a vibrant atmosphere, the event highlighted why Vermont South Tennis Club and the We Are Tennis program continues to be a leading destination for tennis in the local community.
The courts were alive with activity and the ball machines were a huge hit with children and adults alike. Visitors of all ages had the opportunity to experience what makes our club special. Whether for social hits, coaching sessions or kids enjoying their initial introduction to the sport. Events like this play an important role in growing junior tennis, and we were thrilled to see so many young players picking up a racquet and getting involved.
A standout feature of the day was the support from our special guest Trent, from HEAD Tennis, who added a professional edge to the event. Attendees were able to learn more about tennis equipment, receive expert advice, and connect with a globally recognised tennis brand. His presence reinforced our commitment to delivering high-quality tennis experiences to our community at Vermont South Tennis Club.
The Open Day wasn’t just about what happened on the court. Off the court, there was plenty to keep families entertained, including Groovy Face face painting for the kids, a sausage sizzle held in conjunction with Vermont South Bowls Club and a coffee van, creating a fun and inclusive environment for everyone attending. We had a relaxed, welcoming vibe which made it easy for new visitors to feel part of the Vermont South Club community.
Importantly, the event also helped grow our club, with a number of new members signing up for memberships on the day. As interest in tennis continues to grow, particularly in junior tennis programs and community-based sport, it’s exciting to see more people choosing Vermont South as their home club.
