TERMS AND CONDITIONS WE ARE TENNIS
All enrolments must be made prior to the commencement of term. At the completion of each term students are automatically reenrolled for the upcoming term. Please advise us in writing if you do not wish to continue with lessons (30 days notice), so as students on the waiting list can be contacted. All clients will continue to receive a coaching account until adequate notice is given.
All term payments must be finalised prior to the end of the second full week of term. Exceptions are considered by prior arrangement only. A late payment fee of $30 will be applied to any late term payments. Students who commence mid term will be issued a pro rata account, due 14 days from commencement of lessons.
Enrolments will only be accepted once terms and conditions have been read and signed by the student, or their parent/guardian.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that situations may arise where a student may decide to cancel their term after a booking and payment has been made. With respect to all students, it is in the best interest of all that a strict cancellation policy is implement and abided by.
Any student cancellation that is made after three (3) lessons of the term, will not receive a refund of any sort, nor receive any entitlement to future lesson credit. If you cancel after three (3) lessons in the term, you will forfeit your booking and payment for the remainder of the term. There will be no exceptions.
ABSENCES AND MAKE-UP LESSONS
Any absence will require the student or the parent of the student to notify We Are Tennis by phone or by email PRIOR to the commencement of the lesson. Any absence that is incurred without prior notification will result the student forfeiting their make-up lesson.
Make-up lessons will only be given on strict guidelines if:
- At least 24 hours of notice is given to We Are Tennis prior to the commencement of the lesson.
- A medical certificate is provided when such a situation arises that less than 24 hours’ notice is given, this can be done in person or via email.
- There are unforeseen circumstances causing lesson cancellation by We Are Tennis.
- All payments are up to date at the time of the absence.
There are a maximum of 3 make up lessons per term. These cannot be carried over to the following term. If a make-up lesson is not attended, it will be forfeited. It is your responsibility to organise makeup lessons, if there is a vacancy in a suitable lesson on another day/time.
PRIVATE LESSONS
There are a maximum of 3 make up lessons per term. These cannot be carried over to the following term. If a make-up lesson is scheduled and not attended, it will be entirely forfeited.
LATENESS
Students are encouraged to effectively manage their time, especially with regard to lessons. Any student that is more than 15 minutes late to a private lesson will be required to make the full payment of the lesson, and no accommodations will be made for that time that was lost due to being late. Some exceptions may apply, however only in extreme circumstances with sufficient notification and reason is given.
TECHNICAL COACHING
It is understood that in order to provide professional tennis training it is sometimes necessary for tennis coaches to physically coach in the development of student technique which may require strictly appropriate physical contact between coaching staff and students.
SOCIAL MEDIA/MEDIA
By enrolling you/your child, you are giving consent for We Are Tennis to use photographs and/or video footage of the student for coaching and promotional purposes (ie Facebook, Instagram etc). If you have an objection to this, you must stipulate your position in writing to We Are Tennis.
