Tennis Club Championships November 2022
The sun came out for our Club Championship at Vermont South Tennis Club which was so exciting given all the unprecedented rain we have had this term.
We had a range of events, from the Men’s Open Singles, the Women’s Open Singles, Junior Boys, Junior Girl’s and Round Robin tennis events.
Some fantastic tennis on the day, and a lot of fun all round.
The winner for the Junior grade round robin was Chloe Tran.
The boys under 18’s finalist was Louis Lin.
The champion for the under 18 boys was Aden Arulanathan.
The girls under 18’s champion was Caitlin Cheah, and the runners-up was Erin Cheah.
The Women’s open singles champion was Jessica O’Meara, and the runners-up was Esther Tran.
The men’s open singles champion was Jorel Reyes, and the runners-up was John Hoskin.
A huge congratulation to all the winners and competitors. We love getting involved with tennis events – it provides a great opportunity to practice in a match environment, it enhances your tennis skills and fitness, and puts what you learn at tennis lessons into practice – plus it’s lots of fun
